Part-Time Assistant Credit Control

Your new company
Hays are working exclusively with a successful business in the Kidderminster area who are looking to welcome a part-time Assistant Credit Controller to strengthen their finance team.
Your new role

• Verification and completion of documents for credit risk analysis.
• Supervision of customer payment terms and receivables in the context of credit risk.
• Collection and allocation of receivables from the company's debtors on a daily basis.
• Establishing credit terms for new customers.
• Responding to customer enquiries.
• Preparation of statements and reports.
• Contact customers and the sales team.
• Contact the legal department.
• Active participation in month-end closing and audits.
• Support other members of the wider Finance Team when requested.

What you'll need to succeed

• You have experience in accounting/Credit Control and/or in a customer-oriented position.
• You have a diplomatic and professional way of communicating, both spoken and written.
• You know how to approach customers in a solution-oriented way.
