Hays are working exclusively with a successful business in the Kidderminster area who are looking to welcome a part-time Assistant Credit Controller to strengthen their finance team.
Your new role
- Verification and completion of documents for credit risk analysis.
- Supervision of customer payment terms and receivables in the context of credit risk.
- Collection and allocation of receivables from the company's debtors on a daily basis.
- Establishing credit terms for new customers.
- Responding to customer enquiries.
- Preparation of statements and reports.
- Contact customers and the sales team.
- Contact the legal department.
- Active participation in month-end closing and audits.
- Support other members of the wider Finance Team when requested.
What you'll need to succeed
- You have experience in accounting/Credit Control and/or in a customer-oriented position.
- You have a diplomatic and professional way of communicating, both spoken and written.
- You know how to approach customers in a solution-oriented way.
