Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company (CMBC) is one of the leading, historic brewers in the UK. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.
We are now recruiting for a Credit Controllerto join us. The role will be based in office until all training is given, then will become hybrid. Experience within credit control would be ideal, a background in customer service would also be beneficial. This role is responsible for:
Key Accountabilities:
- Daily credit management trade accounts ensuring targets, deadlines and objectives are met
- Relationship management with both internal and external customers
- Managing risk by regular/daily phone contact with customers and sales managers
- Review, assess held orders to manage risk and working to Company Credit Policy
- Review and maintain accurate master data records by actioning housekeeping reports promptly and ensuring compliance with GDPR rules including the closed account process
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal skills including both verbal and written communication
- Aptitude for problem solving with the ability to work using their own initiative
- Able to work in a fast paced, demanding and results driven role
- Ability to handle difficult conversations
- Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of 365 Office
- Working knowledge of ERP(SAP) would be desirable but not a necessity
