Form of workRobert Half Finance & Accountancy are recruiting a new role of Credit Controller for a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave at a growing, owner managed business based on the outskirts of Leeds. Due to the growth of the business, there is a high likelihood of the role going permanent at the end of the initial assignment.
The Role
Duties and responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include:
- Opening new accounts, including obtaining credit checks/references/upfront payment
- Carrying out account reconciliations as required
- Taking credit card payments from customers
- Counting accurately recording cash and cheques received from Drivers and Trade Counter
- Communicating with Sales team
- Monitoring orders on hold and releasing when required
The Candidate
To be considered for the role we require candidates with the following:
Previous credit control experience
- Strong excel skills
- Confident communicator
- Highly organised
Salary & Benefits
- £28,000 base salary
- £100 per month bonus for hitting targets
- 25 days holidays
- Free onsite parking
