🔑 The Role:
As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely issuance of water infrastructure invoices, while maintaining seamless communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Accurately and efficiently issuing invoices, applications, and payment certificates, with meticulous attention to cost capturing and job codes.
✅ Managing project registers and issuing invoices per plot, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
✅ Liaising with clients, both internally and externally, to resolve any issues and ensure prompt payment.
✅ Proactively chasing overdue debt and addressing queries, ensuring collectability.
✅ Maintaining comprehensive records of plots invoiced and paid for multiple sites.
✅ Building and nurturing strong relationships with external water companies.
✅ Thriving in a deadline-driven environment, consistently delivering against set timelines.
✅ Providing general administrative support when required.
💼 Your Skills & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
💡 Knowledge of sales ledger.
💡 Desirable: Familiarity with water infrastructure charges.
💡 A strong background in a similar Credit Controller position.
💡 A clean driver's licence, with access to a serviceable and appropriately insured vehicle (desirable).
💡 Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making skills.
💡 Advanced Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and strong analytical capabilities.
💡 The ability to perform well under pressure, meeting deadlines and targets.
💡 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration at all levels.
