About the Team
The Global Brand and Communications Operations team identifies and implements the processes, insights, and efficiencies to help the Global Brand and Communications team operate smoothly and at scale. The team works across both Global Comms and Global Marketing to provide strategic, operational and administrative support. The team serves as a liaison to key XFN partners, including Procurement, Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources, as well as operationally manages the press inbox and provides media and social analysis insights related to company announcements.
Job Description
We're looking for strong team players — who are both eager to learn and enjoy problem solving — to support the Global Comms team with our press inboxes. You'll work closely team members from across the globe to review, triage and support a variety of media inquiries. Additionally, you'll help support research and reporting to bring external insights into the team to help inform strategy. You'll also ensure the Global Comms team and our XFN partners are aware of breaking news. Ideal candidates are ambitious, driven and passionate about the TIkTok brand. You have an insatiable curiosity about news and get excited about organization and project management. You collaborate with ease across teams and are able to connect dots.
Responsibilities
- Manage global press inboxes to organize information, distribute to relevant departments, manage spam, report relevant emails to other departments
- Regularly check global press inboxes to ensure media inquiries are relayed to the global PR team, and handled in a timely manner
- Work with technical teams to ensure e-mail management infrastructure runs smoothly
- Track industry and competitive news to ensure the Global Comms team and XFN partners are aware of the latest media cycles
- Maintain operational documents and provide summary reports to analyze operations
- Assess and refine internal workflows, and share best practices to optimize Media Operations
- Support additional projects/initiatives within Global Brand & Comms Operations team as needed
- Experience in Comms or PR
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
- Ability to regularly sort, prioritize, and identify urgent tasks, directing them to the appropriate responder while working independently and efficiently
- Strong project management and operations skills
- Flexibility and willingness to support various projects as needed and be able to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism required
- PR knowledge and experience with media is a plus
