We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic Credit Controller to support the finance team who have the responsibilityfor timely and accurate processing of key business cash collections.
In total, there are currently 8 Credit controllers, 2 Admin Support, 1 Credit Manager and Head of Credit Control within the AR team. Collectively together, we are responsible for mitigating any known risks that we may foresee around collection of outstanding debt. In addition, we are also responsible for cash collections of up to £25m each month.
We manufacture a range of speciality products from DIY, Roofing, Industry, Sealing & Bonding, Concrete & Waterproofing, Refurbishment and Flooring which form specific target markets within Sika.
We currently have circa 1800 customer accounts. The team are continuously looking at ways to reduce any outstanding debt as efficiently as possible.
Purpose of the Role
Supporting our wider business in minimising Sika’s debt exposure by collecting debts from our debtors, evaluating new credit requests, ensuring timely payments of company debts, processing invoices, and maintaining the sales ledger, including any required administrative support.
The Opportunity:
The Credit Controllers are required to; -
- Maintain and release any held customer orders
- Ensure payments have been received to terms and contacting the customer when overdue
- Log any known Invoice / account queries that are disputed via salesforce.
- Check customers credit worthiness including running external reports.
- Liaising with external debtors and internal colleagues as required
- Other ad hoc tasks as requested
