Due to expansion, this Global company would like to recruit a German speaking Collections Coordinator to work in their modern Head office in Ashford. You'll be really valued in this team, your main role would be to manage a portfolio of German, Austrian and Swiss Customer Accounts Receivable Accounts, with primary emphasis on their timely collection.
You'll be working as part of a knowledgeable and supportive Finance team 14.

Job Title: Collections Coordinator (German speaking)
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm with 45 minutes for lunch, Friday 8:30am - 4pm with 1 hour for lunch
Hybrid working: Yes once fully trained, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home

As the Collections Coordinator your duties and responsibilities would be to:
- Contact past due customers via phone, email or letter to collect past due balances.
- Analyse an assigned portfolio to identify delinquent/past due or at-risk collection accounts.
- Monitor credit holds and account status and credit availability.
- Reconcile customer accounts.
- As required support other areas of the finance team by undertaking regular reporting which includes in part sales/accounts receivable input.
- Engage others, promote and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.
Ideal skills and experience for the position:
- Fluent German and English to Business level
- Business to Business collections experience preferred but training can be given
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications (particularly Excel) preferred
- Oracle ERP system is an advantage but not essential
