Criminal Justice Support Worker
Salary: £21,394 + on-call allowance & mileage allowance
Location: Coventry
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday - working hours between 8am-8pm


Requirement to cover the out of hours service, rota is split between staff - 8pm-8am Monday to Friday, and 24 hours on a Saturday and Sunday

Salary and Benefits

Overview of the Role
I am looking for a full-time Criminal Justice Support Worker. You will be supporting those who are offenders, or ex-offenders, and you will be task with preventing them from re-offending. You will work with service users who may have; recently moved into permanent accommodation, may be in temporary accommodation, or could still be sleeping rough. You will provide intensive, wrap around support to address their accommodation needs as well as any other areas due to their complex, entrenched nature. You will build trust and support service users to navigate them through pathways and progress towards a life away from the streets and homelessness. You will be a great communicator, building strong relationships with external agencies in order to reduce the number of people returning to the streets and supporting them to access relevant services to address their needs. Delivering person centred support to service users, enabling them to secure suitable accommodation and to meet their immediate needs, enabling them to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life.

Work alongside a range of other companies in order to support individuals
Reduce re-offending through the delivery of high quality accommodation and intensive housing management
Requirements
Have at least 6-months` recent experience supporting the homeless, ex-offenders, or those who struggle with substance misuse
Be a driver with access to a vehicle
Be flexible to a variety of shifts, including earlies, late nights, and weekends
Interview Process
