Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our family business as a Social Media Cruise Sales Expert.
What does this mean? You'll be responsible for maximising leads generated from our social media platforms!
In this role, you will be responsible for handling social media interactions with customers, providing excellent customer service. Your goal will be to engage customers, build relationships and ultimately convert enquiries into sales.
This position requires exceptional communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, a deep understanding of the cruise & travel industry and an open mind to customer requests.
This position is full time including evenings or weekends on a 7 day rota basis. Reporting into Call Centre Manager.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage leads generated from our social media pages, using persuasive
techniques to convert leads into bookings and sales.
● Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries through social media
platforms. Engaging with potential customers, providing accurate and comprehensive information regarding cruise + travel products.
● Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell travel products and services based on customer needs.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights and feedback for
enhancing Facebook page performance
● Take over-flow cruise leads from phone calls
● Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive customer experience.
Relationship Building:
● Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and personalised interactions.
● Foster customer loyalty and encourage repeat business by providing exceptional
service and addressing any concerns.
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, destinations, cruise lines and travel offerings to deliver accurate and relevant information.
● Proactively engage customers through follow-up communications.
Qualifications and Skills:
● Minimum 2 years previous experience within a travel agency, preferably in a Cruise Sales role.
● Familiarity with social media / meta business suite and CRM systems. (training given to the right candidate)
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional tone.
● Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
● Knowledge of travel products, cruise lines, services, destinations, and industry trends.
● Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
● Ability to work independently, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently.
● Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.

Additional Information
