Responsibilities:
1. Supporting various construction projects by performing general labouring duties as assigned.
2. Assisting with the preparation of worksites, including setting up and dismantling scaffolding.
3. Operating and maintaining tools and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
4. Assisting skilled tradespeople, such as bricklayers and carpenters, as required.
5. Loading and unloading construction materials and tools from vehicles.
6. Keeping worksites clean and organized, ensuring all waste is disposed of properly.
7. Adhering to health and safety guidelines and promoting a safe working environment.
8. Following project schedules and completing tasks within specified timeframes.
9. Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure successful project completion.
10. Undertaking any additional duties that may be required to support the construction team.
Qualifications:
1. Valid CSCS card (mandatory).
2. Prior experience as a CSCS Labourer in the construction industry.
3. Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and materials.
4. Ability to understand and execute verbal and written instructions effectively.
5. Physical fitness and stamina to meet the demands of strenuous labouring tasks.
6. Competency in operating basic hand and power tools safely.
7. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team.
8. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
9. A positive and proactive attitude towards work, with a strong work ethic.
10. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Pay Rate: £12.00 - £12.50 per hour
