Csw Senior/Specialist In Southwark

Must have relevant SW qualification and registered with Social Work England. SW qualified for more than 5 years. Expectation is that the worker is office based at least 2x per week.
During the team's duty week this will be 5 days in a row. Duty week runs from Thursday to Wednesday across 2 weeks.

Job Role: CSW Senior/Specialist in Southwark
To provide a comprehensive, effective, integrated, systemically-informed social work service, within Southwark’s practice framework. To deliver excellent social work practice, assessing complex need, and planning and working purposefully with families. To support networks and other professionals to manage risk, safeguard children and promote positive outcomes. To provide a social work service which is both relationshipbased and which responds in a timely manner within statutory guidelines, working collaboratively with the team.
As a Social worker you must have a degree in Social work with a minimum 2 years post qualifying experience and passed your AYSE, experience in an NHS Establishment or a local authority is desirable.
To act in accordance with SWE registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice.
To provide professional Social work assessments to support the commissioning process in line with care management and continuing care.
Employers will be keen to see that you have a friendly and caring attitude, and understand and respect people who need healthcare support.
Previous experience and/or qualifications in Social work are essential to apply for this role.
