The Parts / Customer Advisor Opportunity:
As a Parts / Customer Advisor, you will be in a key customer-facing position. When customers need help with aftersales, you’ll be their connection to the Toyota brand and values. You’ll enrich customers’ lives by keeping expectations managed and ensuring that customer issues are resolved.
As a Parts / Customer Advisor, we’ll count on you to manage the customer experience throughout the service/repair process, supporting customers during the life cycle of their New or used vehicle. Working for Parklands in Newquay, you’ll be able to thrive in an exciting environment where your role as Parts Advisor will be vital to the Centre’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Listening carefully to customers to build rapport and understand their requirements
+ Using a good understanding of the customer’s needs and the products that are available to guide them towards the product that will best meet their needs
+ Quoting prices and availability of stocks and accessories to customers
+ Encouraging the sale of genuine parts and accessories whenever possible

About you:
+ Hold a full UK driving licence
+ Eligibility to work in the UK
+ Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and travel (to the training sessions)
+ Have a smart personal appearance
+ Excellent standards of verbal and written communication
+ Good level of general education - at least GCSEs in English and Maths
+ IT skills (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
+ Previous customer-focused work experience is advantageous, however no specific industry experience is required
+ Interests that support work life balance
