About you

About the role
You will be the first point of contact for customers for Salford Home Search, the local authority’s housing register for social housing. Contact is primarily over the phone and by e-mail but you will be required to undertake some face to face registrations.
The role will involve checking new on-line registrations and changes in circumstances for existing applications for accuracy, and contacting customers where further information or clarification is needed.
You will respond to enquiries from customers over the phone and by e-mail about their applications. You will be part of the Housing Options Service and will support Homelessness Prevention Officers to resolve housing issues by ensuring the accurate and efficient service delivery of Salford Home Search.
