Customer Service and Logistics Manager duties include:
- Responsible for all incoming and outgoing luxury goods
- Overseeing the Customer Service Administration Team
- Take responsibility for reporting on and meeting departmental KPIs by utilising and adapting internal reporting tools to provide regular and accurate information to relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for internal import and export processes and documentation, including distributing sales accessories and materials to the EU, whilst in compliance.
- Ensuring data standards are upheld in relevant systems such as SAP.
- Establish robust supply/stock management of branded materials consistent with service volumes.
- Ensure all relevant Health & Safety standards are adhered to, championing safety at work.
- Champion continuous development of the department by leading and facilitating ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimise productivity through effective planning and people management.
- Monitor courier performance and manage external logistics relationships
- Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry developments and contribute ideas to enhance departmental operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert for the department and wider business.
- Coach and mentor employees to ensure their professional growth and success.
- Ensure efficient and timely completion of all people-related activities, such as performance reviews, recruitment, and disciplinaries.
Skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Experience in people management, including coaching and development.
- Previous experience in Logistics/Warehouse Manager role.
- Good knowledge and understanding of customs import/export regulations.
- Good data analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and reporting purposes.
- Proficient in process mapping and process improvement methodologies
