Customer Service Assistant

Do you thrive in a fast pace and varied environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Customer Service Assistant to join an innovative, expanding local business based in Bangor, Gwynedd on a temporary basis that could become permanent for the right candidate.

In the role of a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Dealing with customer queries, mostly on line but also over the phone and in person
• Assisting with delivery queries and concerns
• Creating shipping labels, ensuring all SKU packaging codes correspond accordingly
• Producing relevant paperwork for online orders
• Supporting warehouse staff when above tasks are completed each day (there will / may be an element of heavy lifting on occasion)
• Always maintaining good health & safety practices, including the proper manual handing of stock, and keeping areas clean and tidy
• Working as a part of a team to meet customer order requirements
• Other General Warehouse duties as and when required

To be considered for the Customer Service Assistant you must have:

• Previous experience in a Customer Service role
• A friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication skills
• Good IT and administration skills
• Numerate and detail orientated
• Organised, and able to work under pressure
  
• Proven ability to work independently and responsibly with minimal supervision, but also as part of a team
• A positive can-do attitude, hard-working and happy to diversify from tasks as required by the demands of the business

This is a temporary role that could become permanent for the right candidate. Working hours are typically 9am 4pm Monday to Friday (some flexibility could be offered for the right candidate). In exchange you will receive a salary of up to £12.50 per hour depending on skills and experience plus accrued holiday pay.
