Client Details

Our client is a national container and site accommodation supplier, with headquarters in the city of Southampton, Hampshire. We cover the entire UK through strategically located depots across the country. Our clients in-house transport division, self-storage site set-up consultancy and conversions business ensures we're able to assist customers across their entire journey, while limiting the economical and environmental impact on their business or vision.

Description

The main responsibilities for the Customer Service Assistant role is:

  1. Customer Support:

    • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via various communication channels, including phone, email, and live chat.
    • Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and promotions to assist customers with their inquiries and purchasing decisions.
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively, demonstrating empathy and professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction.
  2. Sales Generation:

    • Proactively identify opportunities to up sell or cross-sell products and services based on customer needs and preferences.
    • Utilise product knowledge and sales techniques to promote additional items, upgrades, or complementary products to enhance the customer's purchase experience.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and goals by actively promoting products, overcoming objections, and closing sales opportunities.
  3. Order Processing:

    • Assist customers with placing orders, processing payments, and managing account information accurately and efficiently.
    • Coordinate with internal departments, such as inventory management and shipping, to ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery.
  4. Relationship Building:

    • Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers by providing personalised service and demonstrating a genuine interest in their needs and preferences.
    • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases and address any additional needs or concerns they may have.

Profile

The successful candidate for the Customer Service Assistant role is someone who looks like:

  • Previous experience in Customer Service or sales roles, with a demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional Customer Service.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor that fosters positive relationships with customers.
