Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional Customer Service to all visitors to our Virtual Reality Racing Simulator Centre. Your primary objective will be to ensure that customers have an enjoyable, safe, and memorable experience from the moment they enter our virtual realm.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing assistance, guidance, and recommendations as needed.
Technical Support: Assist customers with operating VR racing simulators, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and the proper use of equipment.
Reservations and Bookings: Manage customer reservations, bookings, and inquiries through various communication channels.
Payment Processing: Handle transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain cash registers in compliance with company policies.
Facility Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the virtual reality centre, including simulator stations and common areas.
Promotions and Upselling: Inform customers about promotional offers, upsell additional services or merchandise, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from customers to identify areas for improvement and relay suggestions to management for enhancing the overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in Customer Service, preferably in the entertainment or gaming industry.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of virtual reality technology and gaming concepts (preferred but not required).
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in Customer Service is a plus.

Pay: £8.60-£11.50 per hour
