Customer Service Associate / Cashier
Duties:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide exceptional Customer Service by assisting customers with their inquiries, concerns, and purchases
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Upsell products and services to customers
- Handle customer complaints or issues with patience and empathy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
Skills:
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
- Excellent phone etiquette for answering customer calls and addressing their needs
- Ability to upsell products and services to increase sales revenue
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy checkout area and keep track of inventory
- Multilingual abilities, specifically English and Spanish, to assist a diverse customer base
