Customer Service Manager

Offering £28,000 - £33,000 Basic Salary Plus Great Benefits

Our client is a global supplier of products, services, and solutions to the retail industry. They have enjoyed significant growth and are currently recruiting a Customer Service Manager.

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Manager to lead their UK fulfilment team and develop their UK based customer relationships. The successful candidate will be the key contact between a strong sales team and fast-moving warehouse, having an understanding and involvement within the supply chain of our client’s business, with daily contact between sales, warehousing, finance, and supply chain teams.

The Customer Service Manager will need to have great attention to detail, motivationally leading a team to deliver a consistent service of excellence. With strong analytical skills, the successful candidate will be able to both create and interpret multiple data sources to best manage the team, wider departments, and customer base. They will be expected to provide and act on key performance data as well as providing data insight for the rest of the business with regards to customer fulfilment and driving sales growth.

Customer Service Manager - Key Responsibilities

  • Direct line management of a team of 3 Customer Service professionals. Responsible for training, coaching, and developing team members.
  • To manage the Customer Fulfilment functions and undertakings within the ERP and EDI systems.
  • Identifying and correcting errors on the in-house systems.
  • Ensure cost centric and accurate deliveries at all times.
  • Manage stock allocations closely.
  • Management of customer feedback, complaints and claims of administrative error.
  • Maintaining strong channels of communications with the Warehouse Manager and team to flow orders down to pick and despatch.
  • Run daily reports for departmental and business wide use.
  • Answering customers questions and assisting with pre- and post-order support.
  • Drive the results of departmental KPIs and deliver concise and informed summary.

Customer Service Manager - Skills & Experience

  • Ideally experienced in managing a B2B/B2R Customer Service team.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills and experience.
  • Experienced in identifying and implementing Customer Service improvements.
  • EDI and ERP systems exposure is essential. It would be advantageous to have had practical experience with Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics Navision.

The Customer Service Manager position is offering £28,000 - £33,000 Basic Salary plus great benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our client’s office in Leeds, working Monday - Thursday 8:30am until 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am until 4:30pm.
