Position:Customer Services Officer
Contract Duration: ASAP, 3 Months
Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, 09:00 - 17:00.
Location: N1C 4AG
Pay Rate: £18.42 per hour (PAYE)
Role Overview:
The Customer Services Team is a multi-channel, first point of contact service for GIS Healthcare. We provide accurate updates, information and guidance on GIS services via a range of channels to members of the public and partner organisations to ensure that an efficient and effective service is provided to those in need of our support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with all customers in a courteous, prompt and appropriate manner using excellent written and verbal communication skills at all times and in accordance with agreed Customer Service standards and statutory procedures relevant to the service area.
- Respond to customer requests for information or service using appropriate digital resources to ensure the highest quality service is maintained.
- Manage the expectations of both the assessors and clients by giving reliable and accurate information.
- Prioritising workloads to ensure best interests are applied and business needs are met.
- Create and accurately maintain all electronic records ensuring compliance with GDPR for GIS and all partner services and agencies.
- Engage with difficult or upset customers, handling complaints in a professional and courteous manner in line with corporate procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Empathetic and patient approach when dealing with customers.
- Problem-solving abilities to address customer issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using Customer Service software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
