Position:Customer Services Officer

Contract Duration: ASAP, 2 Months

Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, 09:00 - 17:00.

Location: NG24 1BY

Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour (PAYE)

Role Overview:

The Customer Services Team is a multi-channel, first point of contact service for GIS Healthcare. We provide accurate updates, information and guidance on GIS services via a range of channels to members of the public and partner organisations to ensure that an efficient and effective service is provided to those in need of our support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with all customers in a courteous, prompt and appropriate manner using excellent written and verbal communication skills at all times and in accordance with agreed Customer Service standards and statutory procedures relevant to the service area.
• Respond to customer requests for information or service using appropriate digital resources to ensure the highest quality service is maintained.
• Manage the expectations of both the assessors and clients by giving reliable and accurate information.
• Prioritising workloads to ensure best interests are applied and business needs are met.
• Create and accurately maintain all electronic records ensuring compliance with GDPR for GIS and all partner services and agencies.
• Engage with difficult or upset customers, handling complaints in a professional and courteous manner in line with corporate procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Empathetic and patient approach when dealing with customers.
• Problem-solving abilities to address customer issues effectively.
• Proficiency in using Customer Service software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.
