As our Customer Service & Parts KeyAccount Manager, you will develop and support a pre-defined set of Key Account customers, to help maximise the customer’s satisfaction through vehicle uptime, and to grow OEM parts sales and downstream-related services.

Commercial
Responsible for providing Customer Service support for a defined allocated list of truck customers. For each account, planning and alignment with dealer partners and DTUK management team, in line with the truck strategic direction. Prioritisation of customer opportunities that deliver parts sales and downstream revenues to build a profitable and sustainable business.
Customer
Maximise the customer relationship by ensuring a contact strategy is implemented and adhered to involving senior management and dealer partners. In-service account management and problem resolution for all Key Accounts including technical issues and coordination with the dealer network. Transparency and completeness of fleet customer contact records.
Growth of sales and services
For each assigned Key Account, the creation and implementation of business development plans in line with strategic priorities of Daimler Truck, including growth of parts sales. Ensuring achievement of net revenue customer pay parts targets.
Brand
Consistently demonstrate behaviours and practices that enhance and improve customer perception of the brand image and experience.
Culture
Be a brand and product ambassador of Daimler Truck, to both the retail partners and their customers as required by the business. Following corporate integrity & compliance expectations.
About you
- Ideally qualified to degree level with highly developed business/commercial orientation in the logistics/haulage/truck market place
- Sales experience and a detailed knowledge of the HGV market, including acquisition
- Experience and understanding of truck service and maintenance requirements and commercial practices
- Highly developed numeracy and commercial judgement of deal quality
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully interact at all levels
- As this is a field-based role, it requires a full and clean UK driving licence
