Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in offering empathetic support to individuals during challenging times. Your main focus will be providing compassionate assistance and guidance to customers seeking information about funeral arrangements.
Emotional intelligence is paramount for success in this role, as it enables you to effectively connect with and support customers. Demonstrating understanding and empathy will be key to your effectiveness and overall success in this position.
Initially, this position will be based in our Quayside office, with the potential for us to look at alternative arrangements once you've attained the necessary skills and knowledge. You'll undergo a comprehensive training program, starting with a week of classroom-based training, followed by a 3-week 'Grad Bay' program where additional support will be provided. Joining our established campaign means you'll be part of a seasoned team, ready to welcome you and enhance the support available.
This role requires a good level of IT skills as well as the ability to multitask when speaking to customers and maintaining digital records.
Availability:
Ideally, part-time candidates’ availability would include between 8am and 12pm or 3pm – 7pm, however consideration will be given to those who can work part of these time periods.

Exceptional verbal communication skills.
High level of empathy and emotional intelligence.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with care and professionalism.
Ability to multi-task e.g. ‘talk & type’
