Image Data Group are a family run business with sites in Howden, Hull & Brighton, operating at the forefront of marketing communications, providing print solutions/products since 1989. We deliver innovative visual communications for the UKs leading retailers & corporations from banners, tension-fabric light boxes to presentation brochure packs & office stationary.

The Customer Service/Account Executive role is based in the office on site in Willerby HU10 6EB & is a key role within our business. You will create & maintain the positive relationships with our customers (working mainly on email, phone, Teams) ensuring their needs are exceeded daily.

Your hours of work are 37.5hrs per week working Monday to Friday, 9am until 5.30pm. Main Function:

To ensure that all existing and potential new customers are provided with a comprehensive, high quality service. Process orders to ensure that information from clients is available, in the right format and on time, to hand over to operations in order to progress jobs and projects, in line with our security management procedures.

Key Performance Tasks:

    n
  • Take job/project briefs from the client and communicate these internally, with the aid of the Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager, if required.
  • n
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication with operation and production teams and progress all enquires and work effectively and efficiently.
  • n
  • Use approved administration procedures to enable accurate reporting and timely invoicing, ensuring that invoices are raised for all completed jobs as timely as possible.
  • n
  • Process customer orders in accordance with procedures to a stage where they can be handed to production/operations.
  • n
  • Ensure that customers are kept fully informed of all issues affecting the timeliness, cost and quality of their projects.
  • n
  • Create relevant collation and distribution lists for operations.
  • n
  • Ensure that all information required for production is accurate and complete prior to commencing the production process.
  • n
  • Finalise technical specifications, prior to presentation to the estimating department (in conjunction with production specialist if required).
  • n
  • Inform all relevant production personnel of impending projects and level of urgency.
  • n
  • Promote imageData Group in a positive way by communicating with customers in a professional, effective and efficient manner at all times.

  • Ensure that all works job tickets are raised in a timely and accurate manner on the Company’s MIS system, Optimus.
  • n
  • Ensure that projects proceed to agreed critical paths.
  • n
  • Identify the need for outsourced work.
  • n
  • Price jobs from cost matrices (if available).
  • n
  • Ensure that amendments are entered onto works tickets & revised quotations are actioned as necessary.
  • n
  • Report any non-conformances promptly and action corrections.
  • n
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably correspond to the general requirements of the post and are appropriate with its level of responsibility in order to contribute to the success of the Company.

  • Good level of education, including English and Maths

  • Good numeracy skills

  • Accurate computer skills for data input

  • Sound working knowledge of computing systems especially major Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Excellent time management skills – self-motivated & ability to work to strict deadlines
  • n
  • Capable of building a good understanding of the needs of customers
  • n
  • Must have a positive, flexible 'can do' and adaptable approach to rapidly changing work priorities and ability to work to tight timescales.
  • n
  • Experience in using management information systems (if possible Optimus/Tharstens, although training will be given).
  • n
  • A helpful and co-operative attitude.
  • n
