The role
As a Customer Service Administrator and Driver, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This role in instrumental in delivering good customer service ensuring processes are followed that enable vehicles to be efficiently delivered into workshop and then delivered back to happy customer's after repairs are complete.
Day to day, you'll deliver the Customer Services (CS) processes that enable vehicles/assets to be efficiently delivered into the repair process and delivered back to customers after the repair process.
Working as part of a multi-skilled team, CS Specialist Driver Administrators co-ordinate the arrival of vehicles / assets planned for repair and deliver handover/takeover processes / discrepancy reporting. The team prepare the asset ready to go into its respective repair line as and when it's required according to the production plan.
Where assets require changes to planned completion dates the CS team will liaise with customers and the planning function to amend the production plan where necessary.
- Liaising with customers regarding delivery, collection and changes to planned arrangements.
- Liaising with planning function where assets are not going to be ready by expected completion date.
- Liaising with haulage contractors during load/unloading of platforms.
- System administration - ERP, safety near misses, asset management, quality, Learning Management System (LMS)
- Driving vehicles from customer service area to holding area ready to go into workshops.
This role is full time, 37 hours and will be based on site at Catterick Garrison, near Richmond.
Essential experience of the Customer Service Administrator and Driver
- Competent PC / Microsoft Office user
Qualifications for the Customer Service Administrator and Driver
- Educated to Level 2 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Intermediate apprenticeship, Level 2 NVQ, GCSE - Grade A* - C, O Level A - C, CSE Grade1) or equivalent workplace experience.
- Full UK driving license including HGV category C + E.
- Category H Forklift Licence - Desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
