The Role Summary
Our client is looking for a Customer Services Officer to contribute to the provision of effective services across a range of access channels within the Contact Centre. The successful candidate will help to deliver the commitment to put the customer at the heart of what we do by providing quality services at the first point of contact.
Your key duties within the role will include:
- Respond to telephone enquiries and customer communications.
- Utilise Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to improve service delivery and efficiency.
- Take ownership of and resolve customer enquiries and communications in a busy contact centre.
- Act as an advocate for the Customer First Contact Centre, promoting positive communication across the organisation encouraging constructive and effective relationships.
- Ensure that the terms of the Data Protection Act are adhered to, confidentiality always maintained and the guidelines for the release of information are followed.
Key requirements
- Experience in a customer service role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of ICT
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Data Protection Act
