A driven Customer Support Advisor is needed to help with Member Recruitment and Support for our team at The Association Management Company based in Suffolk on a full-time, hybrid working basis.
We are an award-winning company providing professional association management services to trade associations, membership organisations and charities. Founded in 2009, we have grown organically and now look after ten clients.
This is a full-time, hybrid working position requiring you to visit the office a couple of days a week. You will be reporting directly to a Director and work Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
- To initiate membership applications with potential members over the phone
- To answer potential members’ questions about membership
- To arrange (if necessary) a virtual or actual meeting with the Membership Development Manager to help convert a potential member
- To contact existing members to ensure they are aware of their membership benefits
- To promote any upcoming events
- To help members who have not yet updated their profile on the website
- To answer any questions or refer the question to a member of the team who can
- To keep accurate records and ensure CRM is updated
- Assisting our clients’ members over the telephone and by email
- Assisting members of the public enquiring about services offered by our clients’ members by email and phone
- Helping to organise meetings and events
- Preparing minutes and actions from client meetings and then following those through to completion
- Supporting the leaders of our clients (Boards and Councils) in their activities
Required Skills:
- Great attention to detail
- Confident and pleasant telephone manner
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Able to cope with changing priorities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent IT skills - must be fully conversant with all MS Office programmes
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with a membership organisation
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Familiarity with WordPress
