Customer Service Advisor - Debt Support / Debt Support Officer - 37 - hours based Leyland

They are looking for Customer Service Advisors / Debt Support Officers to work alongside debt caseworkers and carry out a range of activities that prepare the client to receive full debt advice. This includes supporting clients to complete a budget in advance of the appointment and gathering all the necessary paperwork to progress their case after they’ve received advice.
Debt support officers also provide general administrative support such as dealing with incoming and outgoing post, managing SMS, e-signatures and electronic document upload requests, making referrals, ensuring records are updated in line with policy, and liaising with clients and third parties.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Customer service skills
- Recent experience using word processing software
- Able to manage multiple browser tabs at once
- Previous experience in learning new progress and systems quickly
- Able to multi-task effectively
- Able to communicate effectively with clients on sensitive topics
- Ability to understand and adhere to the Data Protection Act and UK GDPR.
- Able to work constructively as part of a team
The desirable Criteria:
- Recent experience using the Google software suite
- Able to use multiple monitors to work efficiently
- Experience using a case management system
- Experience of working with people with mental health issues, or people with disabilities.
- Experience working with people with English as a second language or using BSL
