Our client is looking for a Customs Administrator on a permanent, staff basis, located in Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire.ROLETo provide Customs Administrative services and support to the company. Support the coordination, development, and maintenance of the Company. The Customs Admin Assistant will report to the Customs Admin Co-Ordinator or in their absence, the Client Account Manager.RESPONSIBILITIESOperationsManifest ValidationPreparation of the weekly queries and submission to the QA Board for checkingSubmitting manifest queries to the client as per KPI deadlineUpdating manifest validation and files with query responsesReconcile weekly/monthly sailing reportsCarrying out administrative control of clients End Use materialsMonitor and manage client mailboxesSupporting the company Operations as and when requiredAttending meetings and business seminars as requestedHSEQReview and follow company QMS procedures – alerting management if you become aware of discrepanciesJob specific procedure creation and amendments.CommunicationsAssist with PR & Marketing campaigns as requestedShare ideas for company Newsletter, social media or other marketing mediums.REQUIREMENTSSkills/KnowledgeThe ability to work in a team environment as well as to work unsupervisedComputer literate with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and SharePoint.Motivated with the ability to exercise initiative to problem solveAbility to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload to meet demandsAccuracy, with excellent attention to detailGood communication and interpersonal skills.Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with client information
