Most of our training is delivered by Instructors working in pairs at schools and is both playground and on-the-road training. A playground Level 1 course, with riders aged 8, is usually taught over a single working day. The Level 2 course, which is taught on the road, usually runs Monday to Friday teaching 10-year-olds. We are also expanding our community cycle training offer to young people and adults.
With a bank contract, work is offered using a calendar system and you will be able to enter any periods you are not available for work. The amount of work you will be offered will depend on the number of requests for training we receive, some periods are busier than others.
With an annualised hours contract, you will be paid a monthly salary. Your work schedule will be programmed for you and there is no commitment to work in school holidays. Your hours in any one week might vary, but your monthly salary is constant. The total work hours will match your contracted hours each calendar year.

To apply, alongside your CV, you will be asked to answer the following questions:
What is your motivation for applying for this position? What is your experience of working with children or young people?
