About the Role: As a Primary School Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education to students in Rainham and surrounding Havering schools. You will have the opportunity to work across different schools, covering short-term absences, staff training days, and other ad-hoc requirements. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to gain experience in different educational settings and age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons according to the school’s curriculum and policies.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student growth and development.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and foster a supportive atmosphere for learning.
- Collaborate with school staff and communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
- Follow lesson plans and provide feedback to regular classroom teachers as necessary.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with primary school-aged children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
