Dance Teacher ' Temp ' Full-time ' MPS / UPS ' May 2024 An Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school with 'Outstanding' features in the Reading area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dance Teacher to join their team until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will teach dance to students up to BTEC level, ensuring engaging and inspiring lessons that encourage expression. Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver high-quality dance lessons aligned with the national curriculum. - Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience. - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development. - Mark student work promptly and provide timely feedback. Requirements: - Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. - Experience teaching dance at secondary level (Up to BTEC level). - Passion for fostering creativity and nurturing artistic talent. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to engage and motivate students. - Commitment to student well-being and academic success.
