Main Duties / Key Tasks: Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patients records. Extraction of necessary data from clinical correspondence and inputting into patients electronic records. File copies of hospital referrals and letters. Dealing with investigation results as part of the correspondence management procedure. Read coding information into the practice clinical system. Assisting with the practice emails and ensuring that emails are dealt with appropriately and efficiently. Monitoring patient call and recall systems. Filing and retrieving paperwork. Summarising patient notes as required. Set up and run clinical searches as required. Ensure accurate report output. Interrogate data for audit purposes. Always ensure security of data. Registration of new patients including births etc. Monitor links including approving registrations, rejections, amendments, GP2GP. Changes of patient details including names and addresses. PCSE requests and changes. Supporting the nursing team with the baby clinic procedures. Deal with the workflow of tasks relevant to the admin team. Supporting clinicians and management with QOF. Administration support for Flu clinics. Assist with secretarial tasks as required. Cover for reception duties as required.
