What you’ll be doing?

• Develop and maintain databases and data systems for data analytics and performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data.
• Working in a team to support data requirements for a critical business project
• Use data visualisation tools to tell the story behind the data.
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyse, and interpret patterns and trends in sophisticated data sets and predict outcomes base on changes in behaviours.
• Provide subject-matter expertise to the Central Data Office around data tools including but not limited to PowerBI, Snowflake, Erwin Data Intelligence and other data tools.
• Collaborate with internal team-leads and analysts to test, clean, and standardized structured and unstructured data to meet the business requirements.
• Working within the CDO governance framework and with the data owners and stewards to ensure there is appropriate oversite and accountability around data.

Who we are looking for?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Actuarial science, Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• An organised and logical problem solver, with experience working in a data governance environment and familiar with data dictionaries and data quality concepts.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data manipulation using tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
