UK Based - Fully Remote (UK Applicants Only)I am lucky enough to be working exclusively with a leading business in the Mental Health/Medical diversity sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Data Analyst on a permanent basis, the role is fully remote, but you must be UK based (already). In this role, you will be an expert in Power BI technology, and responsible for creating and managing meaningful business intelligence enabling strategic decision-making.The focus will be to transform raw data into relevant insights through interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports.You will also be instrumental in developing a long-term data strategy leveraging current data landscape and helping define the data collection practice of the future.Data Analyst Specification:

• Ability to hit the ground running by using various data sources to convert our current CRM MI dashboards to PowerBI.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop and implement statistical models and reporting tools using Power BI (or similar tools) to create compelling and interactive data visualizations.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and monitor them regularly.
• Analyse our current data ecosystem to inform the development of a comprehensive data strategy. This will include identifying opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, ensuring data quality standards, and data security. You will also help define the data we want to collect in the future to support long-term business goals.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, business analytics) or equivalent experience
• Proven experience with Power BI and its functionalities (DAX, data modelling, etc.)
• Experience in data analysis using tools like SQL, Python (or R) (advantageous)
• Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics.
• Ability to implement row-level data security.
• Capable of performing advanced-level computations on the dataset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant industry and its data (desired but not essential)
