The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in SAP, PowerBI, VBA, Excel, and possess a solid background in engineering.
The successful applicant will have the following experience:
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize SAP and other data sources to extract, analyse, and interpret complex datasets
- Develop insightful reports and dashboards using PowerBI to provide actionable business intelligence
Automation and Process Improvement
- Leverage VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to automate routine tasks and enhance efficiency
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement data-driven solutions
Excel Superuser
- Serve as the go-to person for Excel-related queries, demonstrating advanced proficiency and problem-solving capabilities
- Create and maintain complex spreadsheets, models, and templates for various business functions
Engineering Data Integration
- Apply engineering knowledge to integrate technical data into analytical models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyse engineering data for business decision-making
Quality Assurance
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data sources used in analyses
- Implement data validation processes and perform regular audits to maintain data integrity
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
Projects can include:
- Financial Audit support and data analysis; building data models for quick information recall, scrutinization and dissemination.
- Performing Analysis and Profiling of source system data using DAX and Excel
- Working directly with business users to translate existing process into new functionality and services.
- Preparing reports and development models for review and demonstrating in accordance with business requirements
Projects can include:
- Financial Audit support and data analysis; building data models for quick information recall, scrutinization and dissemination.
- Performing Analysis and Profiling of source system data using DAX and Excel
- Working directly with business users to translate existing process into new functionality and services.
- Preparing reports and development models for review and demonstrating in accordance with business requirements
