I am thrilled to share the news about a newly available position for a Data Analyst. This role is with a highly reputable client based in the Wirral, who has accumulated decades of experience in their industry.
Responsibilities
1. Assisting the Key Account Management team in developing both standard and customized financial and environmental reports for customers, as well as providing on-demand reports.
2. Meeting the designated KPI deadlines for producing recurring reports on a regular basis.
3. Offering commercial support to the KAMs, Tenders, Nationals, and Sales teams by creating and modifying profit and loss models, ensuring accurate and up-to-date costings.
4. Evaluating the profitability of various services and identifying areas with low margins.
5. Assisting KAMs and Finance in implementing and verifying price increases.
6. Collaborating with the accounts and credit control teams to calculate credits and ensure precision.
7. Ensuring accurate financial mobilization of new projects in the company's ERP system.
8. Assisting IT and Finance in verifying invoices to guarantee accuracy and completeness of invoicing.
9. Providing support to staff and customers in understanding and resolving unique cases related to environmental reports.
10. Creating written guides to assist staff and customers in utilizing reports and the portal effectively.
11. Fulfilling requests for compliance documents, data and organizing them in a matrix format when necessary.
The Candidate
- Proficient in utilizing advanced features of Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional aptitude for working with numbers.
- Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving with a strong analytical background
- Familiarity with basic to intermediate functions of MS Office.
- Skilled in actively listening, comprehending, and interpreting requirements while following established procedures.
- Methodical and well-organized with exceptional time management abilities.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, making sound decisions, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Recognizes the need for self-help and seeks assistance when necessary.
- Proficient in managing stakeholders effectively.
- Preferred experience with Power BI, although not mandatory
