Data Analytics Team Lead / Head of Data Analytics

Are you an experienced leader in the field of Data Analytics, looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact? Our client, a thriving Consultancy firm, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Data Analytics Team Lead / Headof Data Analytics. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Project Director to manage and lead the division, delivering cutting-edge Data Analytics solutions for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP).

As the Data Analytics Team Lead / Headof Data Analytics you will have 5-10 years experience leading teams in a Data Analytics consulting environment.

• Lead a team of Data Analytics professionals, driving them to deliver exceptional results in data links, data solutions, Azure, and data warehouses.
• Act as the hiring manager, overseeing recruitment processes, conducting interviews, and building a high-performing team.
• Manage appraisals and staff performance, providing mentorship and guidance to help team members reach their full potential.
• Support bid writing activities, leveraging your technical expertise and industry knowledge to contribute to successful project proposals.
• Provide both business and people leadership, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and fostering a collaborative and supportive team culture.
• Utilise your experience in a Consultancy Delivery environment to effectively navigate project complexities and deliver outstanding outcomes.

• Previous experience in a technical Data Analytics role, with a proven track record of leadership in delivering Data Analytics solutions.
• Background in Rail, Energy, Water, Utilities, Airports, Roads/Highways, or similar sectors is essential, particularly for projects of national significance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both technical and non-technical team members.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with the flexibility to work from one of our locations in London, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Manchester 2-3 days per week.

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 basic, with additional benefits including 27 days holiday, car allowance, pension, and the option to buy and sell holiday days.
