Our head office is in Leeds, this role will sit in the data function and report to our Enterprise Data Architect. Data and technology are key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectation in our industry and meet our customers needs.
Description
The successful Data Architect will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Designing, creating, and deploying Data Architecture that meets business requirements
- Guiding the selection of appropriate data tools and systems
- Ensuring Data Architecture aligns with company standards and industry regulations
- Coordinating with data scientists and analysts to optimize data usage
- Performing regular data audits to ensure data integrity
- Training team members on Data Architecture tools and systems
- Staying updated with current industry trends and technologies
- Presenting Data Architecture strategies to stakeholders
Profile
A successful Data Architect should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Proficiency in data modelling and data visualization tools
- Expertise in SQL, Python, or other data-related programming languages
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques
- Knowledge of Big Data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
