Are you an experienced Data Architect looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the insurance sector? We are currently seeking a talented professional to join a leading personal lines insurance company, known for its focus on price comparison websites and broker distribution channels.
This enterprise-wide role offers a chance to contribute significantly to the company's data strategy and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in enterprise data strategy meetings.


• Drive continual improvement of data principles and blueprint designs.


• Chair the Data Design Forum and collaborate on solution designs.


• Design and govern Central Data Platform data pipeline patterns.


• Collaborate on conceptual data modeling and review logical data models.


• Ensure adherence to data management best practices in security, governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Job Context: Data and analytics play a pivotal role in enhancing performance and achieving competitive advantage.
This role is part of the Enterprise Data Services leadership team, overseeing the Data Architecture pillar and providing technical guidance across related project teams.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Deep knowledge in insurance/financial services domains would be nice to have however not essential


• Expertise in at least two key technologies: Azure, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Matillion, Snowflake, and PowerBI.


• Experience in event-driven architecture, analytical system Data Architecture, and ETL design.


• Proficiency in dimensional data modeling and enterprise data model maintenance.


• Understanding of metadata management, information security, GDPR, T-SQL, and data science principles.


• Ability to communicate effectively across stakeholders at all levels.


• Experience in large-scale organizational change or transformation would be beneficial.


• Passion for Agile methodologies and experience in Scrum.
