Data Engineer

We are currently recruiting for one our trusted clients, who are looking for a Data Engineer. This is your chance to join a leading insurance provider for new properties!

What You Can Expect

• Location - Milton Keynes (Hybrid - 2 days per week)
• Salary - £500 - £620 per day (Outside IR35)
• Work type - 6-month contract with room for extension

Main Responsibilities of a Data Engineer

• Designing, creating, and cleansing data pipelines for the wider data strategy.
• Documenting data implementation into the data models including business rules.
• Conducting statistical analysis, hypothesis testing and experimental design.
• Utilising data wrangling techniques to convert raw data into usable formats.
• Creating, optimising and maintain systems in line with technical requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience using Snowflake, DBT and Informatica.
• Background working in the Insurance or Warranty Sector would be desirable.
• Experience with AWS or Azure would be desirable.
• Qualifications in Snowflake or DBT would be desirable.
