Taylor Hopkinson requires a Data Management Controller for a 12-month contract with a leading offshore wind farm developer.
Location: Hybrid, based in Swindon
Status: Inside IR35
Working week: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
Job spec:
- experience conducting Data Management, archiving, cloud storage use and EDMS knowledge preferable.
- To collect large data from the business (including, but not limited to geophysical, geotechnical, environmental and bird survey data).
- Liaising with data owners across teams and departments to determine data sets to be backed up.
- Uploading of data to the Large Offshore Data Storage in the Azure Cloud.
- Cataloguing the data archived.
- Categorising and storing data in line with an agreed and consistent structure for all data sets.
- Ensure accuracy in storage and ease of retrieval of all data.
- Management of access rights for interested and approved stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- To support the Document Management and Project Support Team lead for all matters in relation to data storage.
- Creation of Data Management process maps and procedures for storage and retention.
- To support interlinked initiatives in relation to Data Management.
- Management of expired accesses to large data.
- The coordination of data-sets to be migrated globally.
- Involvement in GDPR topics for ensuring that data is stored in a compliant manner.
- Ensuring that data is sufficiently collated, stored and logged within the Azure Cloud Large Data Store
