Position Overview: As a Data Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of our data assets to support informed decision-making and enhance educational outcomes. Working closely with faculty and staff, you will manage data acquisition, storage, and analysis processes, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure the integrity and security of our data assets.
- Oversee data acquisition processes, including data collection, storage, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify data needs and requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Conduct data analysis to extract insights and inform decision-making across the school.
- Establish and enforce data governance best practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead efforts to clean, organize, and maintain data quality to support accurate reporting and analysis.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data management, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- 1 years of experience in data management or a related role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty and staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Experience with educational data systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor) is a plus.
