As Senior Manager - Data Platform Architecture you will contribute to the evolution of our company-wide data, AI, and analytics platform, which serves central teams and markets. An outstanding opportunity to transform and evolve our global data, AI and analytics platform that delivers data solutions to the entire company using cloud-native technologies. Engage with our customers across all functions and regions. Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and our security teams to build robust, scalable, secure, self-service industrialized data and AI platform solutions. Your day-to-day • Architecting and evolving data solutions that are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with the company data strategy and roadmaps. • Researching, evaluating, and leading the selection of data technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve the Data Platform. The job also requires developing and leading proof-of-concepts and pilot projects. • Architectural guidance to Data Engineers and leading a team of solution architects in the Data Platform. • Engaging with internal customers and translating their requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions. • Designing, documenting, and communicating solution architectures and processes across multiple viewpoints. What you will need • Education and experience requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, and at least 10 years of experience in enterprise data solutions design and development. • Cloud-based data solutions expertise: The candidate should be an expert in architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based data solutions, using tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Redshift, AWS EMR and other services like RDS, Glue, Spark, DynamoDB. • Crafting data solutions in multiple models and technologies: Practical experience in relational, no-SQL, big data, graph DB, unstructured and structured, reporting & analytics solutions, as well as data lakes, data mesh, and data fabric concepts. • Data management: Experience and expertise with all aspects i.e. data governance, data mastering, meta-data management, data taxonomies, and ontologies • Data modeling and semantic layer design skills: experience with data modeling, semantic layer design, and data lifecycle management, and should be able to engineer data solutions that are compliant and support data governance and mastering. • BI tools and AI/ML background: Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Business Objects, and have some background in AI/ML and predictive analytics. • Architecture documentation and communication skills: Fluency in architecting and documenting data solutions at multiple levels and views, using solutions architecture methodology and practices. The candidate should also have strong communication skills, both oral and written and be able to communicate well to technical and business audiences. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities: Critical thinking, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and an understanding of how complex matrix organizations operate. Multinational experience is an advantage. • Partner engagement and leadership skills: Experience in Senior Stakeholder engagement and team leadership is required. What’s in it for you?
