We currently have an exciting position for a Data & Reporting Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Data & Reporting Manager is responsible for translating and prioritising the requirements of the Portfolio Management team; Delivery Partners and Stakeholders into rich, visually engaging and highly accurate dashboarding to enable timely decision making across our multi billion-pound Investment programme.
The role is responsible for leading a team of Data & Reporting Analysts to build an Industry leading insights platform based upon our core principle of providing a live and trusted one view of performance.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in financial and project plan reporting, alongside a working knowledge of the regulatory framework in the UK water industry.
You'll be reporting into the PMO Manager, with a minimum of 2 direct reports. Therefore, we're also looking for someone with experience of people management, prioritising and allocating workloads, managing performance and day to day team leadership.
What you'll be doing:
Design and deliver a highly accurate PowerBI based investment insights reporting suite.
Translate and build data models, identifying relationships between Governance Workflow data, SAP financial information and Oracle P6 planning datasets.
Work with stakeholders to translate their needs into visually engaging dashboards.
Lead and motivate a team of Data & Reporting Analysts
Prioritise workload to maximise team effectiveness and report uptime.
Conduct analysis of the projects under the investment portfolio to provide key stakeholders of potential pain points with other planned projects.
Build trust via our data with Business Streams and Strategic Alliances.
Monitor and report on project/portfolios objectives, efficiencies and milestone performance and flag key risks and opportunities.

What does it take to be successful?
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Extensive PowerBI technical build and capabilities knowledge and experience
Excellent IT skills
Technical expertise producing professional business reporting
Strong organisational and administration abilities
Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.
Experience of Anglian Water Investment systems particularly TDW, C55, P6 and SAP
Attention to detail
Experienced manipulator of different data sets including performance data for efficient use to benefit the business
Ability to develop and maintain effective data management
A strong background in financial and project reporting
