Do you have experience of MS Dynamics as an ERP system?

Futures have been supporting Digital Transformation projects for the past 25 years, working with some of the UK’s most complex and challenging organisations, from central government to local police forces, manufacturing and FMCG giants to local authorities and NHS Trusts. This role is a great opportunity for a Network Administrator wanting to take the next step in their career. 

Network Administrator - Key responsibilities - Database, D365, ERP, Dynamics, MRP, SQL, DBA

  • The Database Administrator (DBA) will be responsible for a number of databases within the organisation – notably attached to Dynamics 365 F&O ERP systems
  • You will ensure that all databases are maintained and optimised
  • Database security will be your responsibility (working closely with the Cybersecurity Engineer and Systems Admin to ensure that all data is stored in accordance with British standards)
  • You will act as Support for any Database queries, responding to alerts and support tickets
  • You will document and maintain settings and configurations
  • You will ensure the availability, security and integrity of data related systems and applications through regular monitoring, audits and intrusion detection
  • You will manage system performance, upgrades, new configurations and resources

Network Administrator - Key skills - Database, D365, ERP, Dynamics, MRP, SQL, DBA

  • Proven experience as a SQL DBA, preferably with Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system experience
  • Knowledge of SQL server database administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with data migration tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with ERP system architecture and functionality
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
