We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Delivery Manager to join Newport Adult Community Learning (ACL) team to manage the effective and successful delivery of the Multiply Programme.
'Through the Multiply programme, the UK Government is investing over £100m into Wales to help transform the lives of adults across Wales by improving their functional numeracy skills through free personal tutoring, digital training, and flexible courses.'
The Multiply initiative will deliver high quality, innovative numeracy interventions that meet the needs of local people and the national aims for Multiply.
The Multiply Delivery Manager will be responsible for the management of the multiply programme including: - external contracts; effective implementation of the project across the city; contributing towards quality management and awarding body requirements; motivating and leading people towards changing objectives; implementing creative solutions to overcome obstacles; providing ongoing management information and progress reports against agreed targets; managing teams and communicating clear purpose and direction; evaluating and measuring progress; building and maintaining links with partners both internal and external and Identifying and fostering regional initiatives to enable the development of new opportunities for delivery.
