We are seeking a skilled and experienced Delivery Manager to join our software development Team.
As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful and timely delivery of the projects and initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the software engineering team, product team, and stakeholders, to define project goals, allocate resources, and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables for projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and dependencies.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure that project tasks are appropriately assigned and executed.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and address issues to keep projects on track.
Resource Management:
- Assess resource needs and collaborate with team leads to allocate resources appropriately.
- Coordinate and optimize the utilization of resources across multiple projects.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and support to perform their work effectively.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements, priorities, and expectations.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, business leaders, and data teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Delivery and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the end-to-end project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the expected level of quality.
- Implement project management best practices, methodologies, and tools to optimize project delivery processes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the project delivery lifecycle.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting lessons learned and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in project management and delivery.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager.
- Experience in managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and quality assurance.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
