Delivery Manager - Professional Services, Health and Construction

Our client is a large, independent training provider, based in Blackburn, Lancashire and is owned by the University of Central Lancashire. They are seeking to appoint a Delivery Manager to oversee the leadership of the Professional Services, Health & Construction Department including people, quality of delivery, learner experience, curriculum, budgetary targets, and funding and compliance and drive continuous improvement through excellent leadership and communication.
The postholder will be responsible for the development and delivery of apprenticeships and commercial training in the following areas: Accountancy, Business, Dental, Health, Optical and Scaffolding.
Some of the main duties include:
- To oversee the leadership of programmes within the curriculum area ensuring highly effective teaching learning and assessment.
- To oversee the learning provision, ensuring achievement and delivery of target performance results, quality standards, effective timetabling, student retention and market-relevant course provision.
- To be accountable for achievement of key performance indicators for the department which include: Financial and budgetary targets / Funding rules and compliance / Quality of teaching, learning and assessment / Learner and customer feedback / Timely starts and completion of learners / Achievement rate targets / Attendance.
- To develop the departmental SAR with support from the Quality team and drive improvements in line with the Quality Improvement Plans for your areas of responsibility.
Some essential requirements:
- GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent) at Grade C/4 or above.
- Understanding of OFSTED, SAR processes, and quality inspection regimes.
- Knowledge of Apprenticeships and Apprenticeship standards.
- Knowledge of the End Point Assessment process.

- Degree or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant subject
- Teaching qualification
- Assessor qualification
- Internal Verifier qualification
- Management qualification (or willing to work towards)
