We are on the lookout for a full-time or part-time Qualified Dental Nurse Receptionist to join our wonderful team at A&S Dental Surgeons, either on a full time or part time basis.

The Role:
You will be working as a receptionist at the front desk:
· Manage telephone calls from existing and new patients by booking appointment, answer queries and direct calls where needed.
· Help manage the diaries of dentists.
· Checking patient in and out of the book.
· Book patient appointments and take deposits/payments in person and/or over the phone.
· Dealing with day to day administrative task.
· Printing day lists, banking and closing the reception at the end of the day.
· Keep the reception area stocked and tidy.
· Use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order
· Ensure the care and welfare of patients
· Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
· Handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies
· Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, mercury handling, infection control, waste disposal etc
· Complete laboratory request forms, keep records of work sent, received and fitted
· Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the practice
· Ensure computer/written records are accurately maintained and securely stored
· Liaise with the team to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records
· Attend and participate in practice meetings
· Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice (nursing where needed)
· Undergo training as may be required to develop skills and abilities
· Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR
· Act in accordance with the practice rules and code of conduct
You must have experience reception and SOE Exact experience.
You will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills alongside your passion and enthusiasm for patient care to provide all patients with exceptional customer service and care.
